As some members will already be aware, Eitan Gurari died suddenly late in June. Eitan was the developer of tex4ht, probably the most useful tool for converting from TeX to HTML. Our thoughts are with his family.

Eitan was incredible. When I was learning TeX and needing to convert to HTML he provided totally unselfish, commercial-quality and very timely support. While there was no need for this type of help, he just did it. Also, I had the privilege of meeting Eitan and his wife in person at a TUG meeting in 2003. Really a nice guy with a special family.
