The first copy of Baskerville for some years is in the post to UK-TUG members. Many thanks to the Editor, Jonathan Webley, for the effort he has put in in producing it. We look forward to getting submissions for the next issue! If you’re expecting a copy and it doesn’t arrive please contact the Membership Secretary. Baskerville is also available electronically to members and non-members.

On a recent meander around the internet, we spotted that River Valley have a set of videos recorded at our 2007 meeting on publishing mathematics. (La)TeX training at the UK Unix Users’ Group Summer Meeting

Planning is ongoing for a (La)TeX training session at the UK Unix Users’ Group Summer Meeting in Birmingham. Our earlier post gave initial details, but we are now making progress on the detail. New and improved templates

The Templates page sees a few changes. There is a new template for doing label printing, for mail-shots and so on. At the same time, the letter mail merge and directory templates have been updated to use the latest version of the datatool package. As always, feedback and new template ideas are always welcome.

Baskerville: delivery options

The first issue of Baskerville for a number of years is now ready for release. The Committee are currently finalising delivery details. We will be sending out a PDF copy of Baskerville to all members electronically. At the same time, we will be sending out printed copies to all members unless they opt out.
